The ACCORD Party represents the convergence of Indigenous and non-Indigenous interests under one banner. The combination of Dr. Ezekiel Dalhatu Musa and Hon. Joshua Chinedu Obika is the most viable and unifying force for the FCT. ACCORD PARTY CHAINS STRENGTH IN FCT.
In the lead-up to the upcoming National Assembly elections, the ACCORD Party FCT Senate candidate is doubling down on his commitment to the Federal Capital Territory, highlighting the exceptional representation of the House of Representatives candidate (AMAC/Bwari), Hon. Joshua Chinedu Obika.
Addressing the electorate, Hon Ezekiel Dalhatu Musa, expressed full confidence in Hon. Obika’s track record, noting his profound impact on the Indigenous communities of the FCT. While acknowledging internal political dynamics, the statement addressed recent criticism from Igbos in FCT , positioning it as a testament to Hon. Obika’s inclusive and effective leadership.
“We can state with full confidence that Hon. Joshua Chinedu Obika’s performance in the National Assembly, particularly regarding the welfare of the Indigenous people of the FCT, has been unparalleled. If there are concerns from his Igbo kin about his prioritization of the Indigenes, it only underscores his dedication to serving his constituency with equity. His actions speak louder than criticism; they demonstrate a leader who loves the FCT people unconditionally,” the statement read.
Emphasizing the mantra that Hon. Obika has built a bridge between communities and reinforced his message of unity: “Even though I am an Igbo man, my service has shown my love for the FCT people.” This, the party argues, is the hallmark of a true statesman and a key reason the electorate will return him to the Green Chambers.
Hon. Ezekiel further stressed that the complex challenges facing the FCT require a collaborative approach, transcending ethnic and regional divides. “The challenges of the FCT are too significant to be solved by the Indigenous community alone. We need collaboration and synergy. We must come together as one people to solve our problems.
This vision of unity is embodied in the party’s flagship ticket for the 2027 elections. The Accord Party posits that the perfect combination for effective governance lies in the partnership between Hon. Ezekiel Dalhatu Musa, PhD (popularly known as MC Gida Gida), the ACCORD Party candidate for the FCT Senate, and Hon. Joshua Chinedu Obika ( Accord Party Candidate for House of Representative AMAC/Bwari Federal Constituency FCT Abuja).
The ACCORD Party is calling on all residents of the AMAC/Bwari Federal Constituency and the wider FCT to rally behind these candidates to usher in an era of inclusive development and collaborative governance.
