In a move underscoring the importance of collaborative governance, the Member representing AMAC/Bwari Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Joshua Chinedu Obika, yesterday paid a courtesy visit to the Mandate Secretary of the FCT Area Council Services Secretariat, Hon. Bitrus Lawrence Garki, at his residence.
During the warm exchange, Hon. Obika extended heartfelt personal congratulations to Hon. Garki on his recent marriage. The legislator conveyed his regrets for being unavoidably absent from the wedding festivities last year, a circumstance necessitated by pressing oversight and legislative duties in service of the nation.
Both officials reiterated their unwavering focus on the people’s welfare. Hon. Obika reaffirmed the pledge from his recent New Year message to pursue “policies, projects, and initiatives that positively impact the lives of the people.
The meeting concluded with a mutual resolve to maintain open channels of communication and work in concert for the sustainable development and inclusive governance of the FCT.
