The Member Representing AMAC/Bwari Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Joshua Chinedu Obika, today received Hon. Atumenyi Ismaila Yusuf, who presented his Expression of Interest and Nomination Form for the Chairmanship of Bwari Area Council, FCT Abuja.
Hon. Obika commended Atumenyi for his boldness in aspiring for the position.
Atumenyi was accompanied by Hon. Princess Licia, who initially sought the same chairmanship ticket but has now stepped down to support Atumenyi as his running mate (Vice Chairmanship candidate).
Hon. Obika advised them to intensify grassroots mobilization across electoral wards to secure more support for the Labour Party ahead of the election. While Hon. Obika pledged to support whoever emerges as the Labour Party’s flag bearer.
Atumenyi & Princess Licia praised Obika’s leadership, indicating that their campaign will leverage his political influence.
This development strengthens Labour Party’s unity in Bwari Area Council FCT.
