URGES MASS MOBILIZATION FOR FORTHCOMING FCT AREA COUNCIL ELECTIONS
The Member representing AMAC/Bwari Federal Constituency and Leader of the Labour Party (LP) in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Hon. Joshua Chinedu Obika, yesterday endorsed the FCT South-East Geopolitical Zone Town Hall Meeting held at the Labour Party National Secretariat in Utako, Abuja.
The pragmatic lawmaker, acclaimed for his dedicated representation and party advocacy, reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to advancing the Labour Party’s growth across the FCT.
Hon. Obika called on party faithful and FCT residents to mobilize en masse and support Labour Party candidates in the upcoming FCT Area Council elections, emphasizing that the party “remains the true voice of the masses and prioritizes inclusive governance.
He further lauded the National Leadership of the party, specifically National Chairman Barr. Julius Abure, FCT LP Chairman Comrade Peter Diugwu, and all FCT executives, for their resolute dedication to strengthening the party’s foothold in the capital.
Addressing Chairmanship aspirants present, Hon. Obika, in his capacity as FCT Party Leader, assured that the primaries would be free, fair, and credible. He pledged to support whoever emerges as the party’s flag bearer and urged unity and peaceful collaboration among all aspirants.
