Hon. Joshua Chinedu Obika, Member of the House of Representatives representing AMAC/Bwari Federal Constituency, FCT Abuja, yesterday graced a series of major cultural gatherings across the Federal Constituency.
He attended the AMAC Gade (Babye) People’s Forum, Zone A Annual Cultural Festival held at LEA Primary School, Orozo, where he interacted with community leaders, stakeholders, and residents committed to preserving the rich Gade cultural heritage.
Hon. Obika also participated in the 2025 Igala Traditional Council of Chiefs (AMAC) Merit Award, Get-Together, and Fundraising Ceremony. During the event, the Igala Community in Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC) presented him with an Award of Merit as “ULOKO IGALA AMAC”, in recognition of his unwavering support, exceptional service, and contributions toward the growth and advancement of the Igala people living in Abuja.
In addition, the lawmaker attended the 2025 Ofala Festival of HRH Igwe B. N. Nwanokwara (Ezeora I of Daki-Bui, Abuja) a celebration of tradition, unity, and cultural continuity within the Igbo community.
Across all events, Hon. Obika reaffirmed his commitment to promoting cultural harmony, community development, and inclusive representation for all ethnic groups within the AMAC/Bwari Federal Constituency.
