The Member representing AMAC/Bwari Federal Constituency, FCT Abuja, Hon. Joshua Chinedu Obika, was today honoured with the prestigious “Icon of Peace and Unity in Nigeria” award by the Global Alliance for Peace and Unity.
During the award presentation held at Hon. Obika’s office in the National Assembly, the organization lauded his exemplary leadership. They specifically commended his dedication to equitable development and national cohesion, which is devoid of religious, ethnic, or tribal bias.
In his acceptance speech, Hon. Obika expressed his profound gratitude to the leadership of the Global Alliance for Peace and Unity for the recognition. He pledged to redouble his efforts in delivering effective representation and development to the people of AMAC/Bwari.
Furthermore, he committed to collaborating with the organization to extend humanitarian support and a helping hand to less privileged Nigerians and communities of Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) across the nation.
