In a gesture underscoring his commitment to cultural heritage and community support, the Member representing AMAC/Bwari Federal Constituency, Hon. Joshua Chinedu Obika-MHR, presented a utility vehicle to His Royal Highness, Alhaji Idris Musa (Sarkin Jiwa, MFR).
The presentation was made on the occasion of the 5th Jiwa International Festival of Arts and Culture 2025, a significant event celebrating the rich traditions of the Jiwa Chiefdom.
Hon. Obika commended the royal father for his steadfast dedication to preserving, upholding, and showcasing the profound culture and traditions of his people. He noted that the Sarkin Jiwa’s efforts have successfully placed this cherished heritage on the global map.
The gifted vehicle is intended to support the efficient operations of the Jiwa Palace by facilitating the smooth running of official errands and duties, thereby enhancing the traditional institution’s administrative capacity.
In his gracious response, His Royal Highness, Sarkin Jiwa, heartily commended Hon. Obika for his impactful and result-oriented leadership. He highlighted the significant and positive impact of the Honourable Member’s representation, which is deeply felt by the original inhabitants and all residents of the Federal Capital Territory.
