In a distinguished ceremony filled with honoir and military tradition, Hon. Joshua Chinedu Obika; Member representing AMAC/BWARI Federal Constituency FCT Abuja, played a pivotal role today as he assists in decorating of a dedicated officer of the Nigerian Army.
The event, held at the DHQ Garrison, Mogadishu Cantonment, to Abuja, saw Hon. Obika assist in the formal decoration of Captain IB Okafor, who was elevated to the esteemed rank of Major. The promotion ceremony was a colorful and significant occasion, attended by a host of high-ranking dignitaries, military officials, and esteemed guests.
Hon. Obika joined the family, friends, and well-wishers of the newly promoted Major Okafor in celebrating this remarkable milestone in his career.
In his remarks, the Hon. Member commended Major Okafor for his exceptional courage, unwavering dedication, and steadfast commitment to serving the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Today, we do not just celebrate a promotion in rank, but we honour the values of duty, sacrifice, and patriotism that Major Okafor exemplifies,” stated Hon. Obika.
