The Member representing the AMAC/Bwari Federal Constituency, Hon. Joshua Chinedu Obika, marked the New Year by participating in the annual Bwaya Yam Festival in Bwari Area Council.
The festival, a vibrant celebration of the agricultural heritage and cultural identity of the Bwaya community, featured traditional ceremonies, displays, and cultural performances.
Hon. Obika’s attendance underscores his commitment to embracing and supporting the rich traditions within his constituency.
He was joined by party key stakeholders from the FCT and Bwari Area Council. The delegation notably included Hon. Johnson Ayo, the 2027 Campaign Coordinator for Hon Joshua Chinedu Obika-MHR, for Bwari Area Council, alongside other dignitaries.
In his engagement with community and attendees, Hon. Obika emphasized the importance of preserving cultural practices while fostering unity and development. He reiterated his dedication to advancing initiatives that support local farmers and promote the socio-economic growth of AMAC/Bwari.
