Hon. Joshua Chinedu Obika, Member representing AMAC/Bwari Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, today received a delegation from the Global Alliance for Peace & Unity (GAPU) in a courtesy visit aimed at recognizing his legislative impact and fostering collaboration for national unity.

The GAPU delegation lauded Hon. Obika for his unbeatable leadership and trans-formative legislative agenda, particularly highlighting his efforts in advancing peace, youth development, and equitable representation within his constituency.

They noted that his inclusive governance approach, which transcends religious and tribal divides, has set a benchmark for leadership in Nigeria.

During the visit, the delegation presented Hon. Obika with a Certificate of Commendation as an Icon of Peace and Youth Development, alongside a symbolic Medal for Leadership Excellence, recognizing his dedication to fostering unity and delivering democratic dividends without bias. The group also extended an invitation to Hon. Obika to headline their National Unity Summit in July 2025, where he will be formally honored with an award for his contributions to peace building and youth empowerment.

In his response, Hon. Obika expressed gratitude for the recognition, reaffirming his commitment to serving AMAC/Bwari constituents with integrity. “I remain dedicated to promoting unity, equality, and development for all, regardless of religion or tribe. This honor inspires me to redouble efforts toward inclusive progress,” he stated.
