In a continued effort to improve access to clean and sustainable water for his constituents, Hon. Joshua Chinedu Obika, Member representing the AMAC/Bwari Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, has successfully constructed a new solar-powered water scheme for the Angwa-Tiv community in Gbagalape, Nyanya.
The project, which harnesses renewable solar energy, is designed to provide a reliable and cost-effective water supply to hundreds of households in the area. By moving away from dependence on the national grid, the scheme ensures uninterrupted access to potable water, significantly reducing the burden on residents who previously faced water scarcity.
This initiative is a testament to our commitment to delivering democratic dividends that directly impact the daily lives of our people,” Hon. Obika stated. “Access to clean water is a fundamental right, and by utilizing solar power, we are not only providing a sustainable solution but also contributing to the environmental well-being of our community.”
